Requirements & Qualifications
You must be in your penultimate year of a fully RTPI accredited undergraduate degree, and due to graduate in 2022 with a predicted 2:1; OR in your final year of any undergraduate degree, with a predicted 2:1 and plans to study an RTPI accredited postgraduate Master's degree (which will have been completed by Autumn 2022). You must also have achieved at least 104 UCAS points (260 UCAS points pre-2017) for your A levels (or equivalent), and at least a grade 4 (C) in English language and at least a grade 5 (B) in Maths in your GCSEs (or equivalent).

Real Estate Town Planning
Work with clients at a strategic level to address complex planning and development challenges. You’ll gain experience across all areas. From housing regeneration schemes, to preparing and managing planning applications for major commercial, retail, residential, institutional, culture and heritage, sport and infrastructure schemes.
You’ll develop not just your technical expertise but your analytical ability and interpersonal skills too. You’ll work with a broad spectrum of clients including landowners, investors, developers, corporate occupiers, government departments, local authorities, third sector organisations, cultural institutions and infrastructure providers.
Your professional experience
This is your opportunity to join Deloitte’s Real Estate Planning team. We work at a strategic level with our clients to deliver integrated town planning solutions to help deliver major housing, regeneration schemes and infrastructure projects. We combine our planning consultancy skills with the expertise of colleagues specialising in Environmental Impact Assessment, Development Consultancy, Affordable Housing and Economic Assessment teams to address complex town planning and development challenges.
We prepare and manage planning applications for major commercial, retail, residential, institutional, culture and heritage, sport and infrastructure schemes. Other work includes provide planning due diligence and reviews for clients and strategic planning which includes site promotion and advising clients on the local plan making process.
As an SVS Town Planner within our team, you will be encouraged and supported from the get go, to engage with key projects and to take ownership of appropriate workstreams within project teams.
