Summer Vacations Scheme - Cyber

Entry Requirements

Our requirements vary for a few specialist roles and therefore before you apply we recommend that you review the specific academic requirements on the vacancy job description.

Applications for our Summer Vacation Scheme will close on a rolling basis when we have enough applications. We therefore advise that you apply as soon as possible so that you don’t miss out on securing a role.

Requirements & Qualifications

You will need to be in your penultimate year at university studying towards a 2:1 or above in any degree discipline at a UK University and due to graduate in September 2023, as well as achieved at least 260 UCAS points for your A levels (or equivalent), at least a grade 4 (C) in English language and at least a grade 5 (B) in Maths in your GCSEs (or equivalent).

Your opportunity

So many paths are open to you in Risk Advisory. You can choose to specialise in a broad range of business or technological competencies.

Cyber Risk and Strategy: Not every job within Deloitte Cyber requires a technical background. As cyber-attacks occur with greater frequency and severity, board members and executives are realise that technology solutions are just one part of a comprehensive approach to managing their cyber risk. Within this stream, you’ll be helping clients to define their cyber security vision, identify and protect their critical information, and embed a cyber security culture to ensure that they can not only survive, but also thrive, in a competitive market place.

Your professional experience

  • This is a hands on placement, where you will work very much as a part of the wider team, and you will work on both client and firm sites.
  • You’ll have the opportunity to take full ownership of delivering a piece of client work, and will engage directly with both client and internal stakeholders.
  • You’ll spend time shadowing one of our senior members of the team whilst they deliver client meetings, including developing of market opportunities.
  • You’ll have the opportunity to get involved in proposals and business development activities with our team
  • This is a great opportunity to get some real life work experience, build your skills and networks and potentially secure a full time role at the end of your placement.
