Your opportunity

Each of our four Audit & Assurance businesses offers fascinating engagements, inspirational colleagues, and every opportunity to explore, develop and grow. The difference is in the type of clients you’ll work with.

  • Private markets: Want to work with some of the UK’s most dynamic privately owned companies in a role that goes beyond auditing? Private Markets gives you the unique opportunity to work directly with company owners across all aspects of their business - supporting them on their journey to becoming a listed company.
  • Public: Within Public Audit, working on controls-based auditing offers the intellectual challenge of understanding a client’s business. You’ll develop relationships far beyond the main finance team, providing valuable insights to the company’s Board of Directors and leadership teams. All making for a more interesting and rewarding experience. Our Public Audit clients include some of the largest and most successful companies listed in the UK or US.
  • Financial Services: Specialise in the insurance, banking and investments industries, working with a diverse range of clients from key players to the industry’s rising stars. With digital transformation top of the agenda, you’ll go beyond providing audit and assurance, to finding new ways for clients to improve how they work.

Your professional experience

Together with the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA), Deloitte UK has developed the first accredited training office outside of South Africa, thereby providing you the opportunity to gain your qualification in the United Kingdom. This has been made possible thanks to our long-standing association with SAICA, one which we are very proud of.

Through the training program at Deloitte UK, not only will you gain sufficient experience to meet all the competencies necessary to qualify as a CA (SA), you will also be afforded the chance to gain real insight in the world of business and get involved in some truly inspiring and meaningful work. What’s more, your experience will be gained in London, a globally renowned financial and business centre. This distinct training program and its resulting qualification will no doubt equip you with the skills and experience to pursue a career anywhere you wish to go.
