Requirements & Qualifications

You will need to have obtained or be studying towards at least 260 UCAS points (pre 2017 A level, or equivalent, results) or at least 104 UCAS points (2018 A level, or equivalent, results) and be available to join us in September 2020 and have you must have achieved at least a grade 4 (C) in English language and at least a grade 6 (B) in Maths in your GCSEs.

  • Private markets: Want to work with some of the UK’s most dynamic privately owned companies in a role that goes beyond auditing? Private Markets gives you the unique opportunity to work directly with company owners across all aspects of their business - supporting them on their journey to becoming a listed company.
  • Public: Within Public Audit, working on controls-based auditing offers the intellectual challenge of understanding a client’s business. You’ll develop relationships far beyond the main finance team, providing valuable insights to the company’s Board of Directors and leadership teams. All making for a more interesting and rewarding experience. Our Public Audit clients include some of the largest and most successful companies listed in the UK or US.
  • Public Sector: Want to make meaningful, long-term impacts on public services? We’re the market leader in NHS Foundation Trusts, work with some of the UK’s biggest universities, a wide range of local and central government bodies and many charities.
  • Financial Services: Specialise in the insurance industry, working with a diverse range of clients from key players to the industry’s rising stars. With digital transformation top of the agenda, you’ll go beyond providing audit and assurance, to finding new ways for clients to improve how they work.

Your professional experience

You’ll get to work with and learn from some of the most talented and experienced professionals in the industry. And benefit from a unique training programme for new joiners. One that balances core skills along with the specific requirements of each of our Audit & Assurance businesses and gives you the flexibility to work, learn and develop in a way that suits you and fits with the business’ requirements.

You’ll get the opportunity to study towards an ACA qualification with ICAEW. As well as your professional qualification, you’ll join a programme designed to develop our future leaders and specialists.

Our Channel Island offices offer something unique; the opportunity to work for a Big Four firm whilst living in a beautiful island setting. Each island has a distinctive atmosphere with vibrant communities and a wide variety of outdoor pursuits on offer. Working in the islands presents the career opportunities found in large cities but with the benefit of short commutes and being able to take full advantage of the warmer climate and proximity to the sea.

Requirements & Qualifications

You will need to have obtained or studying towards at least 260 UCAS points (pre 2018 A level, or equivalent, results) or 104 UCAS points (2018 A level, or equivalent, results). You must have achieved at least a grade 4 (C) in English language and at least grade 5 (B) in Maths in your GCSEs.

  • Guernsey - Applicants must be in possession of entitled status in order to apply.
  • Jersey - Applicants must be in possession of a local housing licence/permit in order to apply.
