Your opportunity

So many paths are open to you in Risk Advisory. You can choose to specialise in a broad range of business or technological competencies. 

  • Risk Analytics: Whether you’re a data scientist, mathematician or industry expert, you’ll straddle the technical and non-technical sides of business in the UK’s largest Risk Analytics practice. Our team solves a huge variety of data-related issues, from analysing sports performance to helping protect people’s savings to improving efficiency in the NHS.  
  • Technology Digital Risk (TDR): Could you help clients make the most of digital technology? We provide risk intelligent solutions, advice and managed services. You’ll be involved in all kinds of projects from digital transformation to reviewing current programmes to designing new GRC (governance, risk management and compliance) systems.

Your professional experience

Technology Digital Risk

The Technology Digital Risk practice advises organisations on the effective management of risk, allowing them to make intelligent risk-based decisions over business processes, technology and operations.

  • The Technology Digital Risk practice advises organisations on the effective management of risk, allowing them to make intelligent risk-based decisions over business processes, technology and operations. 
  • We design, implement and provide assurance over business process and technology controls to manage the risks our clients face on a day-to-day basis. 
  • Technology innovation and responding to market developments is fundamental to the growth of the department. You will have the opportunity to explore the use of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence to assist with risk management. 
  • You will have access to leading training courses to develop your career as a subject matter expert in SAP, Oracle and other systems and also familiarise yourself with the latest digital technology and challenges that senior people within large multinational organisations face.

Risk Analytics

  • You will seek to understand how data underpins a business and how improving the use of this data can improve performance. This can be looking at the financial, operational, or commercial information of an organisation, and by analysing or visualising the data to provide insight into the client's business problems.
  • You will work with clients from across the business and commercial landscape, from banks, insurers, and other major financial institutions to high-street businesses, government institutions, and even professional sports teams.
  • There is no typical Risk Analytics client or project, and poor data is a problem which affects all organisations regardless of size or industry. Many problems tackled in Risk Analytics can be applied across clients in different industries, and the core skills developed in the Risk Analytics team mean that you will be able to experience a wide variety of different client and project types.
